What does Thermostat blank mean?

If your thermostat's display, such as an RC310, does not show anything after connecting the EMS Gateway, it indicates an issue with the EMS wire orientation. For some boilers and thermostats, the specific way the EMS wires are connected matters.

• EMS wires connected in the wrong orientation on the Gateway.
• EMS wires connected in the wrong orientation on the thermostat.
• Specific boiler models or RC310 thermostats are sensitive to EMS wire orientation.

   Switch the two EMS wires on the Gateway's terminal block.
