1302 (High Pressure 2)

Error 1302 (High Pressure 2) – Abnormal low pressure before startup detected

Mitsubishi Electric · PWFY Air Conditioners

What does 1302 (High Pressure 2) mean?

If a pressure of 0.098 MPa (14 psi) or lower is registered on the pressure sensor immediately before startup, it will trigger an abnormal stop, and error code '1302' will be displayed. This indicates an issue with low pressure impacting the high-pressure system.

Common Causes

  • Inner pressure drop due to a refrigerant leakage
  • Pressure sensor failure
  • Short-circuited pressure sensor cable due to torn outer rubber
  • Missing pin or contact failure on the male connector on the pressure sensor
  • Disconnected pressure sensor cable
  • Failure of the pressure sensor input circuit on the controller board

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Check the pressure sensor cable for any visible damage, torn insulation, or disconnections.

  2. 2

Inspect the pressure sensor connector for missing pins or signs of poor contact.

  3. 3

Look for signs of refrigerant leakage, which could cause an inner pressure drop in the system.

  4. 4

If no visible issues are found, the pressure sensor or controller board may require professional assessment.
