2134

Error 2134 - Abnormal water temperature (TH6) detected.

Mitsubishi Electric · PWFY Air Conditioners

What does 2134 mean?

The thermistor TH6, which monitors water temperature (inlet for BU), has detected a temperature of 85°C (185°F) or greater. This high temperature causes the unit to stop and enter a 3-minute restart delay mode.

Common Causes

  • The pump is not connected properly or is malfunctioning
  • A fault with the TH6 thermistor itself
  • A disconnected TH6 thermistor connector

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Verify that the pump is properly connected and functioning to ensure adequate water circulation.

  2. 2

Check the thermistor connector for TH6 to ensure it is securely plugged in and not loose or damaged.

  3. 3

If the connector is secure, the TH6 thermistor itself may be faulty and providing an incorrect temperature reading.

  4. 4

A qualified technician should confirm the actual water inlet temperature and potentially replace the TH6 thermistor if it's faulty.

  5. 5

Ensure proper water flow and temperature regulation within the system to prevent overheating.
