Error 3E - Motor over-current detected

What does 3E mean?

The machine's Intelligent Power Module (IPM) has detected an excessive electrical current flowing to the motor, causing the motor to stop to prevent damage.

Common Causes

  • Overloaded drum with too much laundry
  • Motor malfunction or internal short
  • Short circuit in the motor wiring harness
  • Issue with the main control board
