What does DRUM CLEAN reminder mean?

A blinking icon or LED on your control panel indicates it's time to run the DRUM CLEAN cycle. This reminder appears approximately every 40 washes to help maintain hygiene and remove bacteria and dirt from the drum and rubber door gasket.

  • Regular washing machine usage (every 40 washes)
  • Accumulation of bacteria or dirt in the drum

    Press the Power button to turn on the washing machine.

    Use the Cycle Selector to choose the DRUM CLEAN cycle.

  3. 3

    Press and hold the Start/Pause button to begin the cleaning cycle.

  4. 4

    It is recommended to add the proper amount of detergent for your local water hardness or a water softener additive to prevent limescale.

  5. 5

    You can ignore the blinking reminder for up to 6 consecutive washes before it temporarily stops appearing; it will reappear after another 40 washes.
