Error E8 - High temperature for delicate cycles

What does E8 mean?

The washing machine has detected that the water temperature inside the drum is above 50°C, which is too hot for sensitive laundry courses like Wool or Lingerie, to prevent damage to clothes.

Common Causes

  • Faulty temperature sensor (thermistor)
  • Issue with the main control board
  • Incorrect cycle selection for current water temperature
