Status SUdS - Excess suds detected

What does SUdS mean?

The washing machine has detected too many suds in the drum during the wash cycle. The machine will display 'SUdS' and may run an additional rinse cycle to clear the suds.

Common Causes

  • Too much detergent used for the load size
  • Using non-HE (High Efficiency) detergent in an HE washer
  • Very soft water conditions, requiring less detergent
