What does EA 227 mean?

No ionisation current was detected following the ignition of the burner. This means the boiler failed to confirm the presence of a flame after attempting to light.

• Faulty ignition electrode or lead.
• Problem with the ionisation electrode.
• No gas supply to the boiler.
• Incorrect gas/air mixture.
