Zanussi ZFV Series Washing Machines
11 fault codes documented
E01 — Machine door open
The Washing Machine has detected that its door is not securely closed, preventing the wash cycle from starting or continuing. This error often appears if the door is ajar.
E02 — Low water pressure or level
The Washing Machine is not receiving enough water, or the water level inside the drum is too low for the cycle to proceed. If the problem continues, the machine will stop automatically.
E03 — Pump filter clogged or pump fault
The Washing Machine has detected an issue with the draining system, specifically related to the pump or its filter. This usually means water cannot be properly discharged from the machine.
E04 — Excessive water detected
The Washing Machine has an excessive amount of water inside the drum, indicating a potential overfill or drainage issue. The machine will attempt to discharge the excess water automatically.
Excessive foam formed in the detergent drawer
Too much foam is produced during the wash cycle, often spilling from the detergent drawer. This indicates an issue with the amount or type of detergent used.
Machine does not intake water
The Washing Machine is unable to fill with water, preventing the wash cycle from beginning or progressing. This can be due to problems with the water supply or filters.
No water appears in the drum during washing
A user might observe no visible water in the drum during a wash cycle, leading to concern about the machine's operation. However, this is often a normal characteristic of modern Washing Machines.
Machine does not start
The Washing Machine fails to power on or begin a wash cycle when instructed. This can be due to a simple power issue or an incorrect setting.
Spinning operation not performed or runs late
The Washing Machine is not spinning the laundry, or the spin cycle is delayed. This often happens due to an unbalanced load, activating the machine's control system.
Unsatisfactory washing result
Laundry is not coming out clean, or has residues and spots after washing. This indicates issues with detergent use, load, water quality, or programme selection.
Water discharges as soon as machine is loaded
The Washing Machine immediately drains water as soon as it begins to fill, preventing the water level from rising for a wash cycle. This is often caused by incorrect drain hose positioning.
