What does Charging slow mean?

The Zaptec Go charger is delivering a slower-than-expected charging speed. This can be due to various limiting factors in the electrical system or charger configuration.

• Limitations imposed by the main power grid.
• The circuit breaker's rating is too low or incorrectly set in the charger's configuration.
• The charging cable or the vehicle's On-Board Charger (OBC) has a lower current capacity.
• The charger is operating in Eco Mode, which intentionally reduces charging speed.

   Check the standalone current setting for the charger in the Zaptec App by repeating the 'Install Zaptec Go' procedure and ensure it's set to the correct maximum value.

   Review the installation and charger power management settings within the Zaptec Portal (zendesk.zaptec.com) to optimize charging parameters.

   Verify that your electrical installation and circuit breaker are rated to support the desired higher charging speed.
