The charging station's status indicator shows a steady red light, which can indicate a charging fault with the cable or vehicle, or a persistent authentication failure. It might also point to a tripped fuse or circuit breaker within the system.

Disconnect the charging cable from the charging station. Observe if the status indicator turns green.
If the indicator turns green, reconnect the charging cable. If charging does not start and the indicator turns red again, there may be a fault with the charging cable or vehicle.
If the indicator does not turn green after disconnecting the cable, check the fuses as described in the chapter 'Check the Circuit Breaker in the Charging Station'.
Verify that your RFID tag or charging card is properly connected to your user profile in the Zaptec Portal.
